Centre for Children

Supraśl

The Lungs of Poland

Located in the midst of the so-called Lungs of Poland, Supraśl received the status of a health resort town in 1999. Hence, without a shadow of a doubt, it is the most appropriate location for the Centre for Children.

The building plot borders a picturesque alley, called Rymarka street, which turns into a major woodland path on one side, and the Knyszyn forest on the other.

Slightly elevated, it offers a clear view of Monastery buildings located some distance away.

Take a deep breath

Take a deep breath

There could be no better location for Merkaba’s Centre for Children than the town of Supraśl.

It is a historical town located Podlasie region, 15 km away from Białystok, surrounded at every side by Knyszyn Forest.

History and monuments

The history of Supraśl goes back to 1500, when the first sacral buildings were erected.

What is there to see? The Monastery, the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery and the wonderful Buccholtz Palace, which is now occupied by the School of the Arts.

The Land of Podlasie

The Land of Podlasie

The town is situated in a charming location on the banks of a river, also called Supraśl.

In summer, the body of flowing water is a popular bathing spot for locals and tourists who come to visit the place all year round.

Our plans

We shall offer educational and therapeutic facilities as well as the gym, dance, yoga and meditation rooms at the Centre. Children will benefit from the company of animals; horses, sheep and goats. Eggs will be picked from henhouses full of cheerfully chuckling ‘happy’ hens. Children will plant flowers, fruit and vegetables, which will later be used to cook together in the kitchen. They will dine at a dining room of magnificent proportions. We hope to see children come here for trips, summer or school camps and on short term visits.

Here, in Supraśl, they will become acquainted with the local flora and fauna alike… They will begin a new journey into a happier life. May the memories of their time at the Centre in Supraśl stay with them for many years to come.
